Frequently Asked Questions

The staff is always available to answer your inquiries or questions surrounding basketball programs, competitions or court bookings. We have listed some frequently asked questions below, however if this doesn’t answer your question please don’t hesitate to call the stadium on 9707 1866 for assistance.

When is casual shooting available?

Generally casual shooting is available Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm. BUT you need to check the court booking availability on the court booking page as schools and special events can take priority. Best to contact the canteen on 9707 1866 – Ext 9 on weekends to see if courts are available around casual court bookings.


How do I get involved in the competitions?

For Junior Competitions you need to email Christine Rosina (Junior Competitions Manager) at christine@bruinsbasketball.com.au 

For Senior Competitions you need to email Sharon Harget (Senior Competitions Manager) at sharon@bruinsbasketball.com.au


What is the earliest age a child can join a class for the Learn to Play Program

The minimum age for a child to participate is five (5) years old.


Does my child need to be good a basketball to play competition?

No, our junior competition caters for all levels of ability and has grades to suit the novice player but also higher grades for the stronger ability players.


What sports can be played within the stadium?

Bankstown Basketball Stadium does have the ability to host basketball, futsal, badminton and volleyball on the certain courts. They are subject to court availability and for more information please contact our CEO – Christian Gobolos on 9707 1866 – Ext 3 or christian@bruinsbasketball.com.au
